Interview with Kickle Cubicle’s Anonymous-Villain

bgc-villains Good day to you, Mr… well, Mr. Villain. Thank you for joining us today.

anonymous-villain Ah, it’s a delightful pleasure to be here, bgc-villains. But please, let’s stick to *anonymous-villain*. You know I do love a bit of mystique.

carefully crafted maze, where ice blocks and enemies weave a tapestry of confusion and frustration

bgc-villains Of course, anonymous-villain. Let’s dive right into it. Why did you cover the kingdom with ice? Was it a misunderstanding, or is there a method to your madness?

anonymous-villain A misunderstanding? Hardly. No, no, it was entirely intentional! A kingdom of perpetual winter, with people encased in ice—there’s a certain poetic beauty to it, don’t you think? Besides, it’s not like I had much choice. The developers at IPM set me up for it. Someone had to give poor Kickle a purpose, after all.

bgc-villains Poor Kickle, indeed. Many players find the game’s puzzles quite challenging. Do you take pride in making them suffer?

a triumph of chaos and clever design

anonymous-villain Oh, absolutely. There’s nothing like watching players scratch their heads in bewilderment. Those sliding puzzles aren’t just obstacles—they are carefully crafted pieces of art. Each ice block, each enemy, each infuriatingly slippery tile is a masterstroke in the grand design of confusion. Kickle’s freezing breath and his incessant optimism are just nuisances in my frosty symphony.

bgc-villains Speaking of nuisances, what are your thoughts on Kickle himself?

anonymous-villain Kickle! That relentlessly chirpy, breathy little menace. He thinks his freezing breath and those annoying ice cubes are such clever tools. But let’s not fool ourselves—the real challenge comes from outmaneuvering my legion of enemies. Those enemies aren’t just any adversaries; they’re the soul of the game, dutifully dispatched to compound Kickle’s woes.

bgc-villains It seems like Kickle isn’t the ultimate hero in your eyes?

anonymous-villain Hero? Oh, please. More like a persistent little pest. But I must grudgingly admit, the players who manage to guide Kickle through all those lands and puzzles—well, they do deserve some credit. It’s quite an *achievement* to overcome my intricately laid plans. Though, let’s be clear, the challenge lies entirely with me, not that twerp.

bgc-villains You sound quite proud of the level designs. Any game mechanics you’d say you particularly enjoy?

Screenshot 4

anonymous-villain Ah, yes, a personal favorite would be the smashable ice blocks. Nothing beats the sweet satisfaction of a well-placed Breaker shattering an ice cube into oblivion. And let’s not forget the delightfully infuriating Water Holes. Watching players try to map their way around them is always a treat.

bgc-villains Any secrets you’d be willing to share? Perhaps some tips for the struggling players out there?

anonymous-villain Tips, you say? Oh, very well. As I’m feeling magnanimous, here’s a morsel: always keep an eye out for those scattered Power Rocks. When struck, they freeze all enemies in their tracks, giving players a crucial respite. Another one? Those Springs can sometimes offer unexpected pathways—or launch your ice cubes into uncharted territories. Use them wisely.

bright, cheerful colors of the lands hide the real danger beneath the surface

bgc-villains Quite generous of you. So, what do you think about the game’s four lands: Garden, Fruit, Cake, and Toy?

anonymous-villain Ah, the delightful diversity of diabolical design. Each land brings its own flavor of torment. The Garden land’s blossoming naivety, the Fruit land’s deceptive sweetness, the Cake land’s layers of complexity, and the Toy land’s playful yet brutal surprises… Every land is a different kind of puzzle purgatory.

bgc-villains And the Special Stage with its 30 puzzles—is it your magnum opus?

a testament to the villain’s mastery over the cold

anonymous-villain Indeed, the Special Stage is where the true trials unfold. It’s the ultimate test of player patience and skill, a crescendo of chaos I humbly crafted. If one can weather through those, they’ve truly conquered my icy empire.

bgc-villains Before we wrap up, can you tell us—what’s next for anonymous-villain? A return to power or a well-deserved retirement?

anonymous-villain Retirement?! Not whilst there’s a kingdom to encase in ice and heroes to harass. As for my plans… let’s just say my chilling influence might just thaw out somewhere else. I’ve got a few more frosty surprises up my sleeve. Stay… cold.

bgc-villains A tantalizing tease, indeed. Thank you, anonymous-villain, for this delightful interview.

anonymous-villain The pleasure was all mine. Remember, Kickle Cubicle is just as much about savoring the struggle as it is about the victory. Until next time, my frosty friends.

bgc-villains Absolutely intriguing. Thanks again, and until next time!
